1) Skills in opening and closing a lesson;
Skills in opening a lesson aim to get students ready to receive the lesson from the teacher. Opening skills consist of greetings, prayer, attendance check, giving motivation and attention, and apperception for the students.
Skills in closing a lesson consist of reviewing the core of the material (concluding) or having students answer the learning objectives, giving reinforcement, assigning practice questions or tasks, and greetings.
2) Questioning skills;
Questioning skills are exercised by using sentences that students can easily understand, giving students a pause to think about their answers, and passing or rotating questions among students.

Explaining skills relate to mastery of the material. These skills include the ability to explain basic concepts accurately, reinforce them with examples/illustrations, organise the explanation, and emphasise important points.

Skills in providing variation aim to make learning interesting, enjoyable, and interactive. These skills include (a) variation in teaching style (variation in voice, body movement and facial expression, mobility of position, making eye contact), (b) variation in the use of learning media and materials, and c. variation in interaction patterns and activities: demonstrations, discussions, laboratory practicums and the like.
5) Reinforcement skills;
Reinforcement skills are applied to important words, sentences or formulas by using blue, red, or green markers, underlining or boxing them, and repeating them aloud to show that the word, sentence, or formula is very important.
